We the family of the late Graham Wheeliker, who passed away on July 14th 2001,
wish to express our sincere appreciation and heartfelt thanks to our relatives,
friends and neighbors for their kindness and sympathy shown to us during our

Special thanks to
Dr. Michael Gallivan (of Glace Bay) for his excellent care and compassion, also to Rev.
Bill Matthews and his choir, The Patten Funeral Home (Glace Bay). To all those who
attended the memorial service, sent mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, memorial

To each and every
one of you who helped in any way, your thoughtfulness will always be remembered.

Wheeliker- In
Memoriam
Our father, our dad, was called away.
You left us without any goodbyes, You
left us so quickly, our hearts wondered why.
You left us though with such great
pride, with honor, respect and love inside.
You taught us that life would not always
be fair, to learn from life's lessons and show that we care.
We are your children, who grew up by the
sea. The children of a coal miner, we stand proud as can be.
You worked in the mines most of your
life, to provide a good home for your four children and wife.
We have in our hearts so many wonderful
memories, we share these great stories, they will always be treasures.
One we remember and we will share
forever, was at Christmas time when we were all together.
Each year you pretended to be asleep
near the tree, so you could peak and see our smiles, excitement and glee.
You have always been there for us 'till
the end, your legacy, your honor through your grandchildren we send.
You are our father, our "Da", a man
there was no finer. We are your proud children, of our hero a coal miner.
Greatly Missed by Children:
Joan, Maureen, Eric, & Charles
Tonight the silent stars shine down,
on a grave not far away.
Where sleeps the one I loved so dear,
the one I could not save.
My thoughts are always with you,
your place no one can fill.
In life I loved you dearly,
in death I love you still.
They say time heals all sorrow,
and helps us to forget.
But time has proven,
how much I miss you yet.
I think of you in silence,
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories,
and your picture in a frame.
My heart still aches in sadness,
my silent tears still flow.
For what it meant to lose you,
no one will ever know.
Loved
Always, and greatly missed by Wife:
